Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center’s Computed Tomography division seeks a CT Technologist to perform CT exams and provide patient education in University Hospital and related imaging locations. Under supervision, you will contribute to quality assessment activities for the division.

Minimum qualifications include an Associate’s Degree or equivalent, ARRT Radiography Certification, and Ohio Radiology License; CT certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT Radiography Certification and Ohio Radiology License are required.
• Advanced Certification in Computed Tomography is preferred.

Responsibilities

Job description

Scope of Position

The Computed Tomography division encompasses stationary CT equipment located in University Hospital, East Hospital, James Cancer Hospital and OSUWMC Ambulatory Imaging locations.

Position Summary

The CT Technologist performs computerized tomographic exams/procedures for the diagnosis/treatment of disease or injury. In addition, the position provides patient education and performs quality assessment activities for the division, under the direction of the Imaging Supervisor/Manager.

Minimum Qualifications

Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiography Certification and Ohio Department of Health Radiology License. Advanced Certification in Computed Tomography preferred. 0 years of relevant experience required. Previous experience preferred.
