The CT Technologist role reflects the mission, vision, and values of the organization, adhering to its Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complying with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines, and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Position and immobilize patients on examining tables.
• Administer contrast media (oral and/or IV) following department policies, patient history, exam protocols, and physician orders, and provide post-exam instructions.
• Enter technical data such as scan type, slice thickness, and scan time into the computer.
• Communicate with patients before and during procedures; monitor safety and comfort.
• Review images to ensure quality; produce radiographs.
• Perform equipment QA and maintain logs.
• Handle clerical tasks including receiving orders, scheduling, and recordkeeping.
• Maintain and clean work area and equipment; replenish supplies as needed.

Qualifications

Required:

• ARRT certification
• IEMA Division of Nuclear Safety certification
• BLS certification through American Heart Association
• 2-3 years of undergraduate education or equivalent
• 1-3 years of relevant experience
• Physical Demands: Ability to lift/carry and push/pull up to 50 pounds

Preferred:

• ARRT registry in CT or MRI; willing to obtain within 12 months of hire
