Position Summary

Under general supervision of the CT Manager and following established policies and procedures, operates a CT (computed tomography) scanner to obtain images for use by physicians in diagnoses and treatment of pathologies. The technologist provides technical and ancillary support to the department through demonstrated clinical and academic competency in CT. Competency includes completing training, meeting clinical responsibilities, working unsupervised, rotating through all areas as needed, and holding appropriate licensure and advanced certification as required by the ARRT, ACR, and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Schedule: 32 Hours, Nights

Education & Requirements:

• Must be a graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Must be ARRT registered in Radiologic Technology.
• CT Specialty required or obtained within one year of employment.
• BLS or CPR certification required.

Shift: Thursday 11p-7:30a; Friday and Saturday 7p-7:30a
