Qualifications

• Postsecondary grad from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT Radiography Certification and state licensing where required.
• BCLS certification at hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures per protocol with patient safety in mind.
• Verify patient identity and obtain clinical history.
• Prepare and administer contrast media under radiologist direction.
• Operate CT equipment to obtain high-quality images.
• Maintain medical records and document in EMR.
• Apply radiation safety measures to minimize exposure.
• Assist in quality control, calibration, maintenance.
• Respond to contrast reactions and emergencies.
• Collaborate with radiologists and staff to optimize care.
• Pursue ongoing education to maintain ARRT certification.
