Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, ME, seeks a Lead CT Technologist to coordinate shift operations, supervise staff in absence of management, and ensure high-quality imaging. You will collaborate with radiologists, support diagnostic procedures, and manage image transmission to PACS.

Qualifications

• One year of acute, clinical radiology experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic / Fluoroscopic equipment is required.
• Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is required.
• Radiology/ CT license and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
• ARRT-CT Certification is required.
• Must possess and maintain BCLS (AHA) upon hire.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead CT Technologist coordinates shift operations of assigned activities, resources, and/or staff.
• Promotes teamwork and good customer service. Assists in annual evaluations and staff discipline.
• The Lead CT Technologist works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and is responsible for providing quality images.
• Provides assistance in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in support of the Radiologist.
• Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.
