Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team. The role involves preparing patients for scans, operating CT imaging equipment, evaluating image quality, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. The position offers a $10,000 Sign on Bonus.

Employment Details

• Type: Full time
• Shift: Weekend Shift (Nights and Weekends)
• Hours: 36 hours/week

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for scans, including establishing IV medications and administering contrast media
• Operate CT scanners, program patient data, and manage the power injector
• Evaluate and film images, ensuring quality standards
• Follow radiation protection and infection control protocols
• Schedule and bill patients, handle inquiries, and retrieve films
• Explain procedures and gather patient history
• Monitor patient safety and comfort during exams

Qualifications

Required:

• Current ARRT registry and 20 hours of CT training (10 hours on-the-job)
• Continuing education credits, including at least 2 in CT
• CPR certification within three months of hire
• Completion of ARRT-approved Radiologic Technology program
• One-year experience in diagnostic radiology

Preferred:

• ARRT(CT) certification, or obtain within one year
• One year of CT scan experience
