Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a CT Technologist for Outpatient Imaging in Winston-Salem, NC. You will deliver compassionate, high-quality CT imaging in a patient-focused setting, collaborating with radiologists, technologists, and clinical teams to support excellent care and professional growth.

Required ARRT/NMTCB certifications with ARRT CT certification within 6 months of hire and a state license. Prior CT experience is preferred; strong communication and computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree (2 year) preferred; ARRT radiography or NMTCB nuclear medicine program required.
• Minimum of 1 year CT experience preferred.
• ARRT CT certification and registrations required by hire; CT certification within 6 months of hire.
• Applicable state license required.
• Excellent communication and computer skills; ability to adapt procedures by patient age; operates CT equipment.

Facility: NHI Maplewood (Outpatient Imaging) | Location: Winston-Salem, NC | Full-Time

What We're Looking For

• Education: 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program or Graduate of ARRT-approved or NMTCB-recognized Nuclear Medicine Program, required.
• Experience: One year experience in CT, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification:
  • NH Medical Center- Certified and registered: by ARRT in CT - RT(R) or RT(N) or CNMT at time of hire. Certified and registered: by ARRT in CT - RT(R)(CT) or RT(N)(CT) or CNMT, RT(CT) within 6 months of hire, required.
  • NH Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility or Hospital Outpatient Department-Certified and registered: by ARRT in CT - RT(R)(CT) or RT(N)(CT) or CNMT, RT(CT), required.
  • Refer to the Life Support Training Policy NH-HR-3096 for life support training requirement, required.
  • Applicable state license, required.
• Additional Skills (required): Analytical ability, basic computer skills, good communication skills, ability to adapt to procedures based on age of patient, ability to interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs. Prepares patient for procedures. Operates CT equipment.
