Job summary

Novant Health in Wilmington, NC is seeking a CT Technologist to work with radiologists and staff to prepare patients and operate CT equipment for high-quality diagnostic scans.

This position emphasizes patient-centered care, strict adherence to safety standards, accurate documentation, and collaboration with the radiology team to deliver exceptional imaging services. Relocation assistance is available.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED and be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiology.
• Preferred Associate Degree in radiology or related field.
• Inpatient applicants should have JCERT-accredited radiology education or military health-system program.
• If not CT-registered, must pursue ARRT post-primary CT certification within 12 months (18 for CT Tech incumbents).

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for CT procedures and explain the process clearly.
• Safely operate CT equipment to obtain diagnostic images.
• Adapt procedures to meet age-specific needs of patients.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with radiologists and team to ensure exceptional care.
• Support a safe, patient-centered environment aligned with First Do No Harm.
