Job summary

Garden City Hospital, a teaching facility with comprehensive radiology services, seeks a CT Technologist to join our night shift team on a per diem basis. The role collaborates with Radiologists to deliver high-quality CT imaging and patient care.

You will process and transmit images to PACS, support a multidisciplinary radiology team, and ensure safety and compliance with ARRT and state requirements.

Qualifications

• One year of acute, clinical radiology experience preferred.
• Knowledge of mobile and stationary radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment is required.
• Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is required.
• Graduate of a program accredited by ARRT.
• Radiology license and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
• As of 07/01/2015, CT ARRT Certification is required.
• Must maintain BCLS (AHA) upon hire.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• The CT Technologist works with the radiology team to provide quality images and support the Radiologist.
• Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.
• Performs CT imaging in accordance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

The CT Technologist works collaboratively within a multi‑disciplinary team and is responsible for providing quality images. The CT Technologist works in support of the Radiologist, providing assistance in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and is responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.
