Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus in Topeka is seeking a day shift, full-time CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT imaging with an emphasis on radiation safety and patient education.

You will ensure accurate exams, adhere to workflow guidelines, and participate in a supportive team focused on quality patient care and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited school of radiology technology.
• ARRT registration (R) is required.
• Kansas State Board of Healing Arts license is required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic-quality CT imaging procedures to enhance patient care.
• Consistently practice radiation safety along with dose reduction when appropriate.
• Provide education to patients on radiologic procedures and safety protocols.
• Ensure accuracy of ordered exam and compliance with workflow guidelines per policy.
• Answer department phones professionally and complete scanning documentation as required.
