Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus in Topeka, KS is hiring a day shift, full-time CT Technologist to perform diagnostic-quality CT imaging and support patient care.

You will follow radiation safety practices, educate patients on procedures, and ensure accurate exam orders while maintaining documentation and workflow compliance.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited school of radiology technology.
• Registered by the ARRT (R).
• Kansas State Board of Healing Arts License.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic-quality CT imaging procedures to enhance patient care.
• Consistently practice radiation safety along with dose reduction when appropriate.
• Provide education to patients on radiologic procedures and safety protocols.
• Ensure accuracy of ordered exam and compliance with workflow guidelines per policy.
• Answer department phones professionally and complete scanning documentation as required.
