Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Licensed by State NJ DEP.
• Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography ARRT.
• CT certification preferred.
• Maintains required BLS Heart Saver Health Care Provider course completion status.
• Successful completion of all required orientation programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient services using diagnostic CT scan equipment.
• Produce quality images for physician diagnosis and treatment.
• Exercise discretion and good judgment to render quality care.
• Rotate holidays, weekends, and coverage during operational hours as needed.
• Image STAT and Routine CT exams including Stroke patients.
• Demonstrate competency with EPIC and PACS.
• Maintain clean examination rooms and stock levels in procedure rooms.
• Perform daily calibration and quality assurance checks as requested.
• Report equipment problems and enter LT work orders.

Education

Radiologic Technology degree

NJ DEP license

ARRT registered in Radiography

CT certification preferred

Job Summary:

The technologist is competent in the production of quality images to be used by physicians for patient diagnosis and treatment,

In addition, the individuals must be prepared to rend quality care by exercising discretion and good judgment,

Rotation of holidays, weekends, and coverage during operational hours as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate approved school of Radiologic Technology
• Licensed by State NJ DEP
• Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography ARRT
• CT certification preferred
• Maintains required BLS Heart Saver Health Care Provider course completion status
• Successful completion of all required orientation programs
• FUNCTIONS Employ professional judgment and discretion while performing all imaging procedures

Image all STAT and Routine CT exams to include Stroke patients,

Demonstrate competency with the use of EPIC and PACS,

Maintain clean examination rooms and work environment in all areas as well as maintain stock levels in all procedure rooms,

Perform daily calibration and quality assurance checks as requested,

Report all equipment problems to the supervisor and enter an LT work order as appropriate,

Utilize principles of radiation protection for self and patients for every examination,

Utilize proper positioning and technical factors to assure diagnostic quality images for interpretation,
