Job summary

Southeast Colorado Hospital District is seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join its Diagnostic Imaging team in Springfield, CO. The role requires hands-on CT and X-Ray experience, ARRT certification, ACLS and CPR credentials, and the ability to participate in an on-call rotation.

The position is a 13-week contract with day shifts, offering overtime opportunities and a focus on high-quality patient care within a busy imaging department.

Qualifications

• Active ARRT certification required.
• CT and X-Ray experience required.
• ACLS certification required.
• CPR certification required.
• Previous hospital or diagnostic imaging experience preferred.
• Strong patient-care, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and participate in the on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT and diagnostic X-Ray examinations according to established protocols.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain the examination process.
• Operate CT and X-Ray equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure accurate positioning and obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Review images for quality and completeness before submission.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and applicable imaging standards.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Respond to approximately 2–3 nights of call as scheduled.
• Follow hospital policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with additional imaging needs as required.

Weekly Gross Pay:
$3,173.80/week

• W2: $1,927.80/week
• Non-Taxable Stipend: $1,246/week
