Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a CT Technologist to operate CT/scanner equipment, image patients for diagnostic purposes, and maintain patient-focused service in a full-time role at our Sartell location.

The ideal candidate is ARRT certified, licensed where applicable, CPR certified, and capable of performing CT procedures independently with attention to safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of AMA approved radiography program.
• ARRT registered technologist in good standing.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist in the applicable state, if required.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to perform CT procedures independently.
• Imaging specialty certification preferred (not required).

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures on designated body areas with patient care and safety best practices.
• Explain procedures and position patients for optimal imaging.
• Operate scanners and adjust parameters with dose-optimization techniques.
• Ensure accurate patient records in RIS and maintain equipment standards.
• Assist with imaging protocol manuals, software upgrades, and supplies as needed.
• Participate in training of new team members and share expertise.

There is a $5,000 relocation or sign-on bonus for this role!The pay range for this position is $30.00-$50.00 based on direct and relevant experience.

**This is an add to staff position due to growth on our team and our additional beautiful new center in Sartell**

RAYUS Radiology is looking for a CT Technologistto join our team. As a CT Technologist, you will beresponsible for operating assigned scanner(s) to produce images of the patient's body for diagnostic purposes. Taking a patient centered approach, you will provide CT services within professional standards and with excellent customer service.This is a full-time position working in multimodalities (CT, C-arm, and X-ray) Monday-Friday various shifts between the hours of 7:00am-5:30pm, no call or weekends. Willing to train in CT. Option to work 0.8 or 0.9 status available (benefits included).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

(90%) Patient CT Imaging

1. Screens patient before exam for any precautions or contradictions pertaining to examination, using two patient identifiers to ensure the correct patient and procedure
2. Explains and prepares patients for scanning imaging procedures that will be performed, explaining the procedure, positioning patients so that the parts of the body can be appropriately
3. Performs routine and advanced scanning imaging procedures on designated portions of the body for use by physicians in the diagnosing and treating of patient illness and/or injury with minimal amount of supervision or repeats scanned, while providing patient support by talking to patients throughout procedure
4. Adjusts scanning scan parameters correctly and as needed, utilizing dose reduction techniques as appropriate
5. Follows physicians' orders precisely, conforms to safety regulations, and accurately maintains patient records within Radiology Information System (RIS)
6. Maintains ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements
7. Maintains an orderly and clean work area including equipment promoting good safety habits for patients and co-workers

(5%) CT/Imaging Department Support

1. Assists with maintaining an updated imaging protocol manual and software upgrades
2. Monitors medical supply inventory and requests supplies as necessary
3. Assists with training of new team members, providing resource and technical expertise, as applicable

(5%) Completes other tasks as assigned

Required:

1. High School diploma, or equivalent
2. Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography
3. ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing
4. Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable
5. Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
6. Must have sufficient training and experience to competently perform CT procedures independently
7. Certification in imaging specialty
