Job summary

UCHealth is seeking a full-time Radiologic Technologist for the CAT Scan department at UCHth Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo, CO. This onsite role requires proficiency in imaging and direct patient care while working night shifts.

$37.35 - $52.29 per hour, dependent on relevant experience

This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option.

Minimum Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
  • Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) and eligible for a CT registry within 12 months, as certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). State licensure if required. Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider.
  • ARRT Computed Tomography (CT) certification
  • BLS card from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross valid through 60 days of hire
Key Responsibilities
  • Provides top‑of‑scope practice in direct patient care to perform various imaging and radiologic procedures.
  • Values a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes.
  • Models proficiency through precepting those new to imaging or UCHealth.
  • Welcomes new knowledge in a fast‑paced, innovative clinical environment.
  • Contributes to secure safety and quality at the point of care.
  • Reviews patient history, initiates CT images based on physician orders, and prioritizes procedural patient education.
  • Safely administers contrast media or associated imaging medications while monitoring patient condition.
  • Responds to and reports changes in patient condition as appropriate.
  • Implements techniques to yield clarity in image quality control and equipment functionality based on established best practices in Radiology (AART).
  • May perform 3‑D post‑processing while entering, transmitting, and reporting scan results.
