Job summary

FirstHealth of the Carolinas is seeking a CT Technologist to perform high-quality CT and diagnostic radiology studies. You will ensure patient safety and comfort while collaborating with radiologists to interpret imaging results.

The role requires graduation from an accredited radiology program with CT training, ARRT radiology certification, and BCLS. CT Angiography experience is preferred, and CT registration should be achieved within the timeframe set at hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited radiology program with CT training.
• ARRT certification in radiology required.
• ARRT certification or registry eligibility in CT required.
• Must become CT registered within a timeframe to be determined upon hiring.
• Experience performing CT Angiography preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT and diagnostic radiology studies.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment per safety standards.
• Assist in the preparation and administration of contrast agents.
• Provide excellent patient care and address concerns.
