Job summary

Duly Health and Care is seeking a CT Technologist in Naperville to perform diagnostic CT exams under radiologist supervision. You will conduct routine CTs, CTAs, take patient histories, and administer IV contrast while maintaining a patient‑friendly environment.

Requirements include an accredited radiology program, ARRT RT(CT), IEMA license, and CPR certification. Prior CT experience is preferred, with a competitive benefits package and ongoing professional education opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiology technology program.
• ARRT Registered Technologist, RT(CT).
• IEMA license current.
• BLS/CPR required.
• Minimum 1 year CT experience or training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of CT procedures from start to finish under radiologist direction.
• Administer IV contrast and obtain patient histories.
• Maintain imaging quality and safety; follow ALARA principles.
• Complete protocoling, paperwork, and quality checks.
• Coordinate with radiologists, site managers, and staff to ensure patient care.

This would include, but not limited to: performing routine CTs and CTAs, taking accurate verbal patient histories and starting I.V.s, to administer IV contrast. Maintain a positive imaging environment for our patients and act as a patient liaison to the radiologist.Computer applications/scanning and quality control on scanner.Daily paperwork & protocoling.Detailed patient histories.Radiation Safety - ability to keep radiation exposure to ALARA levels.Proficient IV starts/injectionsProvide radiologist with quality networked imagesInteract as a professional with radiologist, site managers, clerical staff, and patientsPerforms ordered examinations of appropriate anatomical regions in accordance with accepted standards of practice and protocols of the individual site reading radiologist.Maintains patient care, comfort and safety during the exam.Maintains technical competency through continued education and participation in Duly Health and Care sponsored training programs.Under guidance and approval of site Radiologist, administers IV and oral contrast according to site-specific protocols.Reviews/explains the procedure to the patient.Performs equipment quality checks and troubleshoots problems. Calls for service and notifies all pertinent team members.Maintains a clean environment.Completes necessary protocolling tasksFollows quality assurance guidelines and maintains patient confidentiality.Complies with Duly Health and Care CT Imaging policies/procedures.Complies with all safety policies and regulations including radiation safety.Maintains current IEMA license for CT and, 24 hours of CE every 2 yearsPerforms additional duties as required.Has knowledge of radiation safety and protection, all aspects of performing examinations, operation of equipment, handling of medical waste, patient safety, and applicable rules and regulations.EDUCATION:Graduate of an accredited education program in radiology technology required.LICENSURE:ARRT Registered Technologist, RT(CT)Current IEMA licenseBLS - Basic Life Support, AED Adult & Pediatric CPR required.EXPERIENCE:Minimum one year CT related experience or training preferred.The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $34.00 -$ 51.00, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives.
