Job summary

Grand Strand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, SC is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT diagnostic procedures and support the radiology team. The position is full-time with weekend shifts and requires working with radiologists, operating imaging equipment, preparing rooms, and ensuring patient safety.

The ideal candidate will hold ARRT-R or CT certification, CPR/BCLS within 30 days of hire, and radiography credentials.

Qualifications

• BCLS/CPR must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• ARRT-R Radiography certification required.
• CT technologist certification or CT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT diagnostic procedures as outlined by the radiologist.
• Operate diagnostic CT equipment, develop film, and prepare exam rooms.
• Support clerical tasks, scheduling, inventory, and cleanliness as needed.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Performs computerized tomography diagnostic procedures as outlined by the radiologist. Operates diagnostic equipment, develop film and prepares room with necessary equipment and supplies for the procedure. Other duties include, but are not limited to; clerical, scheduling, diagnostic imaging, transportation, ordering supplies, inventory, cleaning and anything deemed necessary by the medical imaging management team. Assist in diagnostic work area as needed.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (ARRT-R) Radiography
• (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer, or (CT) Computed Tomography
