+ **Schedule:** Full Time; Days Fri, Sat, Sun 8a-8:30pm

**Responsibilities**

Perform computerized tomographic procedures for diagnosing disease and injury according to protocols established by radiologists.

+ Prepare and position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately.

+ Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within the scope of practice and applicable regulations.

+ Observe patients during procedures and report abnormal activity.

+ Monitor protocols and recommend updates or refinements as needed.

+ Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

**Requirements**

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

+ BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire or transfer date (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).

+ Radiologic Technologist credential from Florida Radiologic Technology obtained prior to hire or transfer.

+ One or more of the following required:

+ Nuclear Medical Tech credential from NMTCB obtained prior to hire or transfer, with NMTCB(CT) or ARRT(CT) certification.

+ Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography from ARRT obtained prior to hire or transfer; Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy specialties also accepted.

+ Computed Tomography credential from ARRT obtained prior to hire or transfer.

Education:

+ High School diploma or equivalent with 2 years of experience, OR an Associate's/Technical degree, OR 4 years of relevant experience.
