Job summary

RadNet is seeking a CT Technologist to perform high-quality radiologic and CT exams, monitor patient well-being, and administer contrast when needed. You will ensure patient safety, communicate clearly with physicians, and uphold privacy and professional standards in a fast-paced clinical setting.

State licensure and ARRT CT/R credentials are required or preferred, with BLS as applicable. A minimum of one year of diagnostic imaging experience is favored; sign-on bonus available.

Qualifications

• Licensure required: ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications as applicable.
• BLS certification may be required depending on state regulations.
• Minimum of one year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality radiologic, CT exams on incoming patients.
• Monitor patient's well-being during exams; recognize discomfort or medical problems and take action.
• Administer contrast safely and effectively as needed.
• Guide patients through exam procedures and answer questions and concerns.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Safeguard patient PHI and property in line with policies and laws.
• Safeguard medications on site per company policies and legal requirements.
• Protect cash and patient financial information on site or portals.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
• Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with staff and patients.

You Will:

• Perform high quality radiologic, CT exams on incoming patients.
• Monitor patient's well-being during exams; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.
• Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
• Guide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
• Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
• Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
• Demonstrates ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have:

• State regulations may necessitate the following certifications: state licensure, ARRT (R), and/or ARRT (CT)
• BLS certification depending on state regulations
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred!

Pay Range:

$38.00 – $55.00 per hour
