Job summary

Touchstone Medical Imaging in South Irving is seeking a CT Technologist to perform high-quality CT procedures in a fast-paced outpatient center, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accurate imaging throughout the exam.

Ideal candidates are grads of an accredited Registered Technologist program with ARRT CT certification and CPR, able to collaborate with radiologists and staff while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Technologist program.
• ARRT CT certification.
• CT registry.
• State medical board license (if applicable).
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures per orders and protocols.
• Ensure patient screening, positioning, and image quality.
• Administer contrast media per orders and policies.
• Monitor patients for safety and comfort during procedures.
• Verify patient information and orders for accuracy.
• Maintain CT equipment and report any issues promptly.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and radiation standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and front office staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms.

This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.

Position Summary

The CT Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) procedures in a fast-paced outpatient imaging environment. This role ensures patient safety, comfort, and accurate imaging while delivering an exceptional patient experience.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Ensure proper patient screening, positioning, and image quality
• Administer contrast media in accordance with physician orders and company policies
• Monitor patients throughout procedures, ensuring safety and comfort
• Verify patient information, orders, and documentation for accuracy
• Maintain CT equipment and report any issues promptly
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and radiation safety standards
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists, technologists, and front office staff
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and work areas

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Technologist program
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
• Registry in Computed Tomography (CT)
• Current license from state medical board (if applicable)
• Current CPR certification
