Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking a CT Radiologic Technologist to perform computerized tomographic radiology procedures under general supervision. The role may include general diagnostic radiology and related duties, with a Day shift schedule.

Candidates must hold a CT-related certification (NMTCB or ARRT) and BCLS, and complete CT registration within 12 months of hire. The position requires a High School diploma or GED, and enrollment or credentialing in CT specialties as part of ongoing

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. is required.
• BCLS/Healthcare Provider certification required; must obtain BLS within 30 days of hire.
• One or more CT-related radiologic certifications (NMTCB/ARRT) prior to hire.
• ARRT CT or NMTCB CNMT certifications with CT specialization are acceptable.
• Registration in CT within 12 months of hire date is expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT radiologic procedures on patients under general supervision.
• Possibly perform general diagnostic radiology examinations.
• Carry out related duties as required to support imaging services.

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Under general supervision, specializes in the performance of computerized tomographic radiological procedures on patients. May perform general diagnostic radiology examinations. Performs related duties as required.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.

Must maintain the required hours of continued education. Healthcare Provider certification required. (BCLS)

BLS Provider obtained within one (1) month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

ERCTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:

One or more of the following: Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

NMTCB (CD Computed Tomography Specialty Certification or ARRT(CT) Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography required in addition to CNMT Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification.

Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Must be registered in Computer Tomography within 12 months of date of hire.

Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy specialty also accepted.
