Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specializing in computed tomography with a strong quality focus. The role reports to the Radiology department and requires handling CT imaging procedures and related duties in a hospital setting.

Afternoon shift (1pm–11:30pm) with a sign-on bonus up to $7,500 and mandatory continued education. Requires BCLS certification and relevant radiologic licenses or registrations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
• Must maintain the required hours of continued education.
• Healthcare Provider certification required. (BCLS)
• BLS Provider obtained within one (1) month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Responsibilities

• Under general supervision, specializes in the performance of computerized tomographic radiological procedures on patients.
• May perform general diagnostic radiology examinations.
• Performs related duties as required.

Hours being 1pm to 11:30pm. Some flexibility to accommodate preferences.

Certifications/Licensures Required

One or more of the following:

• Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• NMTCB (CD Computed Tomography Specialty Certification or ARRT(CT) Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography required in addition to CNMT Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification.
• Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Must be registered in Computer Tomography within 12 months of date of hire.
• Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy specialty also accepted.
