Job summary

Essentia Health in Detroit Lakes, MN, is seeking an overnight CT technologist to administer ionizing radiation for diagnostic procedures and assist radiologists with interventional and biopsy cases. You will provide patient-focused care across age groups, using advanced imaging systems.

There is a permanent night rotation from 7 nights on to 7 nights off, with eligibility for remote/hybrid options and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be registered in CT by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) within two years of hire/transfer to the position.
• If North Dakota, must have current license on the North Dakota Medical Imaging & Radiation Therapy Board of Examiners (NDMIRT) upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the administration of ionizing radiation to humans (age infant through adult) for diagnostic, therapeutic procedures, and/or research purposes, which utilize advanced aspects of computer assisted, digital image recording, and analysis systems.
• The technologist also assists radiologists with interventional and biopsy procedures. Provides optimal patient care utilizing established techniques and interaction with patients appropriate to age.

In this role you will get too:

Responsible for the administration of ionizing radiation to humans (age infant through adult) for diagnostic, therapeutic procedures, and/or research purposes, which utilize advanced aspects of computer assisted, digital image recording, and analysis systems. The technologist also assists radiologists with interventional and biopsy procedures. Provides optimal patient care utilizing establishes and accepted techniques. Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to interact with patients in a way that is effective and appropriate to the age of the involved patient population.

Shift: Overnight CT position. 7 nights on and 7 nights off.

Education Qualifications: No educational requirement
