Delray Medical Center Hospital in Delray Beach, FL is seeking a CT Technologist to operate diagnostic imaging equipment during night shifts, ensuring ALARA principles and compliant imaging protocols.

Qualifications include ARRT registration in Radiology, CT certification or eligibility, Florida license and BLS; 2+ years CT experience preferred. Eligible candidates may receive a sign-on bonus up to $20,000 paid over 24 months.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited radiologic technology program.
• Associate in Science Degree preferred.
• 2 years CT experience desirable.
• ARRT registered in Radiology or CT registry eligible.
• Must obtain CT registry within 12 months of hire.
• Florida license and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Operates radiographic equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
• Follows imaging protocols for ordered exams.
• Obtains optimum CT imaging following ALARA principles.
• Participates in quality, process and performance improvement initiatives.
• Documents timely in radiology computer systems.
• Meets department performance and customer service standards.

Job Summary

Up to $20,000 SOB for qualified candidates, paid over 24 months

Operates radiographic equipment in compliance with manufacturer specifications. Follows imaging protocols for ordered exams. Obtains optimum CT Scan imaging following ALARA principals. Participates in the quality, process and performance improvement initiatives as requested. Performs timely documentation in radiology computer systems. Meets departmental performance expectations and Customer Service Standards of Excellence.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

• Graduate of accredited program in radiologic technology
• Associate in Science Degree preferred

EXPERIENCE:

• Previous CT experience or CT training program attendance strongly preferred;
• 2 years recent experience in CT scan technology is desirable

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION:

• ARRT registered in Radiology;
• CT Registered or Registry Eligible; must be registered in CT within 12 months of hire;
• Florida license, American Heart Association BLS certification.
