Job summary

Delray Medical Center in Delray Beach, FL is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to operate radiographic and CT equipment, ensuring high-quality images and patient safety across diverse exams.

You will apply ALARA principles, follow imaging protocols, and contribute to quality improvement while maintaining accurate documentation in radiology systems. Per Diem, rotating shifts, with preferred 2 years’ acute care experience and ARRT certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited radiologic technology program.
• ARRT Radiologic Technology Registered; ARRT CAT scan Registered.
• Florida license; American Heart Association BLS certification.
• 2 years' experience in an acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiographic and CT equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
• Follow imaging protocols for ordered exams and ALARA principles.
• Contribute to quality, process and performance improvement initiatives.
• Maintain timely documentation in radiology information systems.

Operates radiographic and CAT scan equipment in compliance with manufacturer specifications. Follows protocols for Imaging and CAT scan ordered exams. Obtains optimum diagnostic imaging following ALARA principals. Participates in the quality, process and performance improvement initiatives as requested. Performs timely documentation in radiology computer systems.

Qualifications

EDUCATION: Graduate of accredited, competency-based program in radiologic technology

EXPERIENCE: 2 years' experience in an acute care setting preferred
