Description

Location: UCHealth UCHlth Emergency Woodmen, US:CO:Colorado Springs

Department: Woodmen ED

FTE: PRN, 0.0, 0.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Nights

Pay: $36.19 - $54.28 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Minimum Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) and registered, and or registry eligible with completion of registry in 12 months in computed tomography (CT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). State licensure if required by law. Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider.
• ARRT Computed Tomography (CT)
• Registered Radiologic Technologist
• BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, performing imaging and radiologic procedures within the scope of practice.
• Review patient history and initiate CT imaging based on physician orders.
• Administer contrast media safely and monitor patient condition.
• Respond to and report changes in patient condition.
• Ensure image quality, equipment functionality, and apply best practices in radiology.
• Perform post-processing and report scan results as needed.
