SUNY Upstate Medical University is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform routine diagnostic radiography under general supervision. The role includes training and leading other staff, assessing patient needs by age, and performing additional duties as requested.
The ideal candidate has an AS or AAS in Radiologic Technology, NYS license or eligibility, ARRT certification (or obtain within a year), CPR, and contrast injection registration (or obtain within 3 months), plus at least one year
Under general supervision, performs routine diagnostic procedures and may have individual responsibility for training and leading the work of other employees, with the knowledge, intensity and responsibilities as specified on the attached Job Description/Performance Review. To identify each patient's requirements relative to his or her age specific needs. Willingly performs other duties as requested.
AAS in Radiologic Technology or equivalent, NYS license/registration or eligible and ARRT (or must obtain w/in one year of appointment), current CPR certification, and registration certification for Contrast Injection (or must obtain w/in 3 months of appointment) and one year experience as a radiologic technologist required.
