Job summary

LewisGale Regional Health System seeks a CT Technologist to perform CT procedures under Radiologist direction, maintain equipment, and support safety and quality standards in imaging services. You will provide patient care, collaborate with the team, and demonstrate competency with imaging information systems.

Eligibility includes BLS within 90 days, ARRT-R within 1 year, ARRT-CT within 1 year, and a radiology certificate.

Qualifications

• BLS must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• ARRT-R Radiography must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
• ARRT-CT Computed Tomography must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures under the supervision of a Radiologist.
• Maintain CT equipment and supplies.
• Contribute to departmental planning and ensure safety/quality standards.

Job Summary And Qualifications

Under the clinical direction of a Radiologist and the Director of Imaging Services, the CT Technologist performs computerized axial tomography procedures with minimal supervision. This role involves maintaining equipment and supplies, contributing to departmental planning, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. The CT Technologist provides patient care, fosters teamwork, and demonstrates competency in relevant information systems.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• (ARRT-R) Radiography must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
• Certificate
• (ARRT-CT) Computed Tomography must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
