Join the MedStar Health Team as a CT Technologist

MedStar Health is seeking a certified CT Technologist to join our team! We are currently offering a limited-time $10,000 sign-on bonus.

Position Summary

The CT Technologist will operate computed tomography scanners to produce diagnostic images of various anatomical areas, including abdominal, retroperitoneal, obstetric, and gynecological regions. The role requires knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans, obtain patient histories, explain procedures, and address concerns.
• Administer IV access and contrast injections following departmental protocols.
• Manage supplies and ensure quality and completeness of tests.
• Transport patients, prepare the exam room, and maintain equipment.

Qualifications

• Training or certification in computer-assisted tomography.
• Experience in CT or completion of a certified CT program.
• ARTR or NMTCB license with required documentation on file.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
