This role offers a sign-on bonus and requires on-site availability.

Summary:
The CT Technologist performs all CT procedures to produce cross-sectional images of patient's body by proper positioning of the patient for diagnostic purposes according to protocol and age specific needs, adhering to ALARA and Image Gently guidelines.Responsibilities:
1. Performs all CT procedures to produce cross-sectional images of patient's body by proper positioning of the patient for diagnostic purposes according to protocol and age specific needs, adhering to ALARA and Image Gently guidelines.
2. Administers contrast materials and prepares and operates the CT scan equipment and ancillary equipment.
3. Follows all safety procedures.
4. Performs clerical duties in RIS, PACS, and hospital computer systems as required.
5. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the physical, psychological, social, educational, and safety needs of the patients served regardless of age.
6. Assists in diagnostic x-ray as an x-ray technologist when needed.
7. Other duties as required.
Other information:
Technical Expertise
1. Experience in performing CT images in a hospital x-ray department preferred.
2 . Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required. RIS, PACS, or other related software is preferred.
Education and Experience
1. Education: Graduate from an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology is required.
2. Certification: Certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Diagnostic X-ray is required. ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT) must be obtained within one year of hire.
3. Must be licensed by the state of Ohio in Radiologic Technology.
4. BLS certification required.
