Job summary

Ardent Health Services is seeking a day-shift CT Technician Supervisor in Tulsa, OK. This full-time role leads the CT department at Hillcrest Hospital South, ensuring safe operation of CT equipment and coordination of staff to deliver high-quality patient care.

You will supervise staff, oversee ongoing performance and quality improvement initiatives, and collaborate across departments to resolve issues and support a culture of excellence in radiology services.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT registration is required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervision in the CT department and monitor performance.
• Oversee operational, financial, and personnel activities in CT.
• Lead staff initiatives for performance improvement and patient satisfaction.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and support quality care.
• Assist staff and modality leaders with PACS and EPIC issues.
• Demonstrate knowledge of contrast media injections and IV line administration.
• Operate CT equipment safely and serve as a resource for staff.

• Provide leadership, supervision, direction, and monitor performance to achieve goals and meet departmental standards.
• Responsible for supervising and coordinating healthcare services in the CT department, including oversight of operational, financial, and personnel activities.
• Demonstrate initiative for excellence and specialized knowledge to influence, motivate, train, and lead staff.
• Take ownership of assignments, special projects, pilot programs, and other tasks including performance improvement, patient satisfaction, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues, foster cooperation, and provide information that upholds the organization’s professional and commitment to quality patient care.
• Assist all staff and modality leaders with PACS and EPIC issues.
• Must be able to start an IV line to administer contrast and demonstrate knowledge of contrast media injections and reactions.
• Responsible for operating CT equipment safely and efficiently while serving as a resource for staff.

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology training program in a school approved by the Council of Medical Education of the AMA
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Advanced certification in CT
• Two years of directly related experience in hospital setting with prior supervisory experience
