The ideal candidate will possess ARRT CT and ARRT R certifications, a Texas radiologic technologist credential, and current BCLS. Prior CT experience is preferred, with attention to upholding sterile techniques and departmental policies.

Qualifications

• Required licensure includes ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT).
• Texas Medical Board certification as Medical Radiologic Technologist is required.
• Current BCLS certification is required.
• Associates Degree and knowledge of axial anatomy are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates CT equipment and positions patients for scans.
• Performs reconstruction and evaluates radiographs.
• Maintains patient safety and adheres to radiation safety standards.
• Completes requisitions and inputs exam data.
• Keeps records and ensures correct film identification.
