University Medical Center of El Paso is seeking a CT Technologist I to perform a wide range of CT procedures for patients of various ages in a busy hospital radiology department.
The role requires one year of CT or imaging experience, Texas MRT license, ARRT-R credential, and active BLS certification. An Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology is required, with strong communication and problem-solving skills important for daily coordination.
The CT Technologist I performs wide range of CT procedures on patients of varying ages, completes all associated tasks and responsibilities necessary to manage patient care needs while the patient is in the Department for procedures. Assists in the development and the monitoring of department-specific systems and in the coordination of activities that improve the quality of patient care in the Department.
One yearof experience performing a wide variety of CT or Imaging procedures in a hospital setting preferred;
Texas Certified Medical Radiography Technologist (MRT) required.
Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT-R) credential required.
Active BLS certification required.
Associate’s degree of Applied Sciences from an accredited Radiologic Technology school required.
