Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT examinations under supervision, ensuring high-quality patient care across all age groups. The role requires ARRT CT certification, AMA-approved radiologic training, and BLS; experience with cardiac/vascular CT is preferred.

The position supports night shifts Fri, Sat, and Sun 7pm–7:30am, joining a team dedicated to delivering accurate imaging for exceptional patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum of two years' experience, with one year in CT.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R) (CT).
• Advanced certification by ARRT in Computed Tomography (CT).
• BLS certified.

Responsibilities

• Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients.
• CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist.
• CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups including neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
• Demonstrates ability to perform advanced CT imaging (Cardiac and Vascular) and is competent with cross-sectional anatomy and physiology.
• Provides more complex technical care necessary to meet identified patient needs.

• Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients.


• CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist.


• CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.


• Demonstrates ability to perform advance CT imaging (Cardiac and Vascular) and is competent/proficient with cross-sectional anatomy and physiology.


• Provides more complex technical care necessary to meet identified patient needs.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program.

Minimum Experience Required

• Must have a minimum of two (2) years? experience, with one year in CT.

Minimum Licensure/Certification Required By Law
