The actual hiring rate depends on factors such as responsibilities, location, collective bargaining agreement terms, education, training, experience, seniority, and performance.

Details about the Position

• Perform routine and specialized CT procedures, integrating medical knowledge, technical skills, and patient interaction to provide quality patient care and accurate diagnostic information.
• Conduct X‑ray and CT examinations.
• Determine the most appropriate examination based on patient history through consultation with interpreting or ordering physicians.
• Adapt exams to address patient care problems and make decisions to resolve issues appropriately.
• Operate the CT scanner for data acquisition, reconstruction, and documentation of images; perform quality‑control measures to ensure optimal image quality.
• Apply the ALARA principle to ensure appropriate radiation safety for self, patient, and visitor; evaluate patients for pregnancy prior to examination as indicated.
• Perform interventional procedures applying knowledge of equipment, supplies, and AORN standards.
• Perform additional patient‑care activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned, consistent with caregiver scope of practice, training, experience, and certification or registration.

What You Bring

• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• Demonstrated venipuncture competency.
• PACS/RIS knowledge; EPIC RIS, FUJI, and IntelliSpace PACS experience preferred.
• ARRT – Radiography certification.
• Basic Life Support certification required upon hire.
