Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT exams under a Radiologist's guidance, providing patient care for all ages. You will work with advanced CT imaging including cardiac/vascular studies and ensure cross-sectional anatomy knowledge is applied during procedures.

Requirements include AMA/JRCERT accredited education, ARRT CT certification, BCLS, and at least 1 year CT experience. Shifts Tue–Fri with a sign-on bonus available.

Qualifications

• CT Technologist must have ARRT CT certification and BCLS before hire.
• At least 1 year of CT experience is required.
• Graduate from AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT examinations per standards under supervising Radiologist.
• Provide patient care across neonatal to geriatrics during imaging.
• Demonstrate competency in advanced CT imaging (Cardiac/vascular).

Overview

Four 10-hr shifts, Tuesday - Friday, 10:30 am - 9 pm. No call required. Sign-on bonus available.

Responsibilities

Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Demonstrates ability to perform advance CT imaging (Cardiac and Vascular) and is competent/proficient with cross-sectional anatomy and physiology. Provides more complex technical care necessary to meet identified patient needs.

Qualifications

Education

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program Required

Work Experience

• 1 year of CT experience Required

Licenses and Certifications

• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R) (CT) Upon Hire Required and
• CT - Computed Tomography Advanced certification by ARRT in Computed Tomography (CT) Upon Hire Required and
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
