RadNet in Maryland is seeking a CT Technologist Trainee to join a patient-focused imaging team. You will learn CT procedures under supervision, assist with exams, and support quality assurance while maintaining HIPAA standards.

The role emphasizes safety, accurate positioning, and professional communication with patients and providers. Completion of accredited radiology training and ARRT/CT certification steps are required within policy timeframes.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiology program.
• Current ARRT(R) and State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT (CT) certification within required timeframe.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Venipuncture certification preferred; if not held, must obtain within required timeframe.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to professional development.

Responsibilities

• Assists with preparing patients for CT exams and explains procedures.
• Learns proper positioning techniques, immobilization methods, and safety procedures for CT imaging under supervision.
• Observes and assists with administering contrast media under supervision.
• Supports technologists with image processing, PACS transmission, and quality assurance checks.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and adheres to HIPAA guidelines.
• Participates in educational activities and on-the-job instruction to gain competency in CT imaging.
• Ensures exam rooms are clean, stocked, and prepared for procedures.
• Provides professional and compassionate care to patients throughout the imaging process.
• Completes administrative tasks, paperwork, and data entry as assigned.
• Performs other related duties while learning the full scope of CT Technologist role.
