Job summary

HCA Healthcare Trident Hospital Johns Island ED is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT diagnostic procedures, operate imaging equipment and verify images for quality patient care.

Requirements include ARRT/SCRQSA with CT registry within 6 months, BLS, and AMA-approved Radiologic Technology education. Experience is preferred, with potential supervision of students as needed. Benefits are available and a sign-on bonus up to $15,000 may apply.

Qualifications

• Licensure/Certification/Registration: ARRT.SCRQSA required, BLS. CT registry required within 6 months of departmental orientation completion date, at which point SCRQSA ARRT will be obtained.
• Education: Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology and/or ARRT/CNMT.
• Experience: Experience preferred. Performs in accordance with delineated job responsibilities and satisfactorily completes a yearly evaluation based on these responsibilities. Must possess the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively meet the needs of the patient/internal and external customer.

Responsibilities

• CT Technologist performs computerized tomography diagnostic procedures as outlined by the radiologist.
• Operates diagnostic equipment, verifies images and prepares room with necessary equipment and supplies for the procedure.
• Assist in diagnostic work area as needed. Job may include direct supervision of students at the discretion of the area supervisor.
