Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have successfully completed an educational program accredited by a mechanism acceptable to the ARRT.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT (R) and within 1 year ARRT (CT) required.
• Nuclear Medicine Technology certification board certified (NMTCB) and within one year ARRT (CT) required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures under the order of a licensed medical practitioner.
• Select appropriate exam parameters and evaluate CT scans for technical quality.
• Educate patients about procedures to minimize anxiety and ensure cooperation.
• Assist radiologists with CT procedures like biopsies and ensure safety protocols are followed.
