Job summary

Covenant Health is seeking an Imaging Technician, Radiology Diagnostic for Cumberland Medical Center in Crossville, TN. This PRN position requires performing high-quality X-ray imaging while upholding ALARA standards and patient safety.

The role involves assisting in interventional procedures, maintaining accurate records in PACS/RIS, and supporting imaging staff with routine and complex exams. ARRT(R) certification and Tennessee licensure are required; on-site work with variable shifts offered.

Qualifications

• Must be ARRT (R) certified and licensed as required by state.
• Completed an accredited radiology education program.

Responsibilities

• Apply ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure.
• Perform routine and complex radiographic procedures as ordered.
• Assist with interventional procedures and consent documentation.
• Maintain PACS/RIS documentation and ensure accurate patient records.
• Ensure infection control and aseptic technique at all times.
• Support training of students and staff in imaging procedures.
