Job summary

Trinity Health CT Technologist role on a rotating schedule. Part-time position requiring CT exams, patient safety focus, and collaboration with radiology staff across age groups.

You will maintain certifications, participate in QA, and support Emergency callbacks as needed, while upholding Trinity Health Mission and patient-centered care standards.

Qualifications

• Accredited two-year Radiologic Technology program completed.
• 2+ years CT experience.
• CT credential (ARRT or NMTCB) required.
• Active registry status.
• State Permit to Practice Radiology Technologist License.
• Mandatory Reporter abuse training completed within 3 months.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment safely and knowledgeably on rotating shifts.
• Perform daily CT exams and procedures on schedule and during emergencies.
• Provide care to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
• Communicate effectively with patients, radiologists, students and staff; adapt to change and manage stress.
• Educate patients and families on health issues and solutions.
• Utilize correct patient identification and ensure right patient, right exam, right time.
• Participate in QA activities and maintain current documentation.

What you will do:

• Knows, understands, incorporates, and demonstrates the Trinity Health Mission, Vision, and Values in behaviors, practices, and decisions.
• Performs daily operation s of CT exams and procedures on scheduled shift including emergency callback as assigned . Operates CT equipment in a safe and knowledgeable manner .
• Provides care to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
• Communicates effectively and in a timely manner with patients, other staff, radiologists, students and other management. Actively listens and positively accepts change and is able to deal with stressful situations.
• Provides patient/family or caregiver education and counseling in recognition and solution of physical, emotional, and environmental health problems.
• Utilizes correct process for patient identification . Right patient, right exam, right time.
• Participates as directed in QA activities, maintains current relevant documentation.

Qualifications:

• Successful completion of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology program (ARRT or NMTCB) .
• 2+ years CT experience . CT credential (ARRT or NMTCB ) required .
• Maintains active registry status .
• Maintains current state of employment Permit to Practice Radiology Technologist License
• Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to population served within three (3) months of hire.
• Maintains Basic Life Support qualification
