Job summary

Mercy One is seeking a part-time CT Technologist to join our radiology team. You will perform CT imaging with comprehensive training provided, ensuring high-quality patient care across rotating shifts.

The role emphasizes patient positioning accuracy, radiation safety, and collaboration with the radiology team to support optimal imaging workflows. No prior CT experience is required with training offered.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology program (ARRT or NMTCB).
• CT experience preferred; CT credential preferred.
• Maintains active registry status.
• Maintains current license to practice Radiologic Technology.
• Mandatory Reporter abuse training within 3 months of hire.
• Maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) qualification.

Responsibilities

• Efficient interpretation of clinical information and imaging needs.
• Accurate patient positioning according to orders.
• Monitor radiation exposure and safety practices.
• Maintain and troubleshoot radiology equipment as needed.
• Ensure sterile techniques and safety for patients and staff.

This position is eligible for relocation depending on location

Responsibilities:

• Efficient interpretation of clinical information from clinical team meeting radiology needs of patients.

• Thorough and accurate imaging technique for patient positioning respective to the order.

• Hyper-sensitivity in monitoring radiation exposure time and activity.

• Routinely apply sterile techniques and quality safety practices for patients, teammates, and yourself.

• Mechanical aptitude and confidence troubleshooting, calibrating, and maintaining radiology equipment to avoid equipment failures.

Qualifications:

• Must have relevant credentials as defined below:

• Successful completion of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology program (ARRT or NMTCB).

• PreviousCT experience preferred.CTcredential(ARRT or NMTCB)preferred.

• Maintains active registry status.

• Maintains current state of employment Permit to Practice Radiology Technologist License

• Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to population served within three (3) months of hire.

• Maintains Basic Life Support qualification
