Job summary

Mercy One is seeking a part-time CT Technologist to join our exceptional team. No prior CT experience is required; we provide comprehensive training to help you excel.

You will work with state-of-the-art imaging, perform accurate patient positioning, monitor radiation exposure, and maintain radiology equipment. Join a collaborative, mission-driven environment with strong benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology program (ARRT or NMTCB).
• Previous CT experience preferred. CT credential (ARRT or NMTCB) preferred.
• Maintains active registry status.
• Maintains current state of employment Permit to Practice Radiology Technologist License
• Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to population served within three (3) months of hire.
• Maintains Basic Life Support qualification

Responsibilities

• Efficient interpretation of clinical information from clinical team meeting radiology needs of patients.
• Thorough and accurate imaging technique for patient positioning respective to the order.
• Hyper-sensitivity in monitoring radiation exposure time and activity.
• Routinely apply sterile techniques and quality safety practices for patients, teammates, and yourself.
• Mechanical aptitude and confidence troubleshooting, calibrating, and maintaining radiology equipment to avoid equipment failures.
