The role you’ll contribute:

Provide quality patient care within the medical imaging department. Perform high-quality images and exams while maintaining sensitivity to patient needs. Follow standards of safe radiation practice. Demonstrate leadership abilities and serve as a role model for other technologists. Act as a clinical resource and ensure current standards of practice.

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures safely, adhering to radiation safety rules and regulations, reducing exposure to ALARA standards.
• Produce quality images accurately and promptly.
• Prepare patients for exams, providing information and instruction, and responding to their physical and emotional needs.
• Assist and position patients during exams.

Qualifications

The expertise and experience needed to succeed:

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of related experience
• ARRT(CT), ARRT(N), ARRT(T), ARDMS, or CNMT registry required, or State CT registry ARRT(R) with CT training
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association
• Licensed Radiology Technologist in the state of employment
