Join the MercyOne Family! We are hiring a CT Tech.

As a CT Tech, you will perform radiologic procedures in the CT area under general supervision. Patients range from infants to geriatrics. Your customers include patients, families, visitors, co-workers, nurses, physicians, and vendors, as well as regulatory agents.

Schedule:

• Hours and shifts may vary

General Responsibilities:

• Produce quality CT images using proper positioning and technical factors; be knowledgeable of anatomical structures relevant to all age groups; send images to PACS for interpretation.
• Inform patients about examinations and obtain consent.
• Transport patients to and from Radiology as needed.
• Assist Radiologists with contrast administration.
• Practice radiation safety standards to protect self and patients from ionizing radiation.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Current diagnostic radiography permit from the Iowa Department of Public Health.
• Preferably, at least one year of clinical experience in general diagnostic radiology.
