Join the MercyOne family! We are hiring a CT Tech.

Position Overview:

As a CT Tech, you will perform radiologic procedures in the CT department under general supervision. Patients range from infants to geriatrics. Your interactions include patients, families, visitors, co-workers, nurses, physicians, and vendors.

Schedule:

• Hours and shifts may vary.

Responsibilities:

• Produce quality CT images using proper positioning and technical skills, with knowledge of anatomical structures across all age groups. Send images to PACS for interpretation.
• Inform patients about procedures and obtain consent.
• Transport patients to and from Radiology.
• Assist radiologists with contrast administration.
• Follow proper radiation safety practices.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Current diagnostic radiography permit from the Iowa Department of Public Health.
• Preferably, at least one year of clinical experience in general diagnostic radiology.
