Job summary

RMCC is seeking an experienced CT Technologist (PRN) to support Littleton, Aurora or Denver clinics. The role includes performing CT procedures, ensuring high-quality imaging, and maintaining patient safety and comfort throughout exams.

Qualifications include an Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology, ARRT registration, current IV and CPR certifications, and a CT certification is preferred. This on-site position requires a flexible schedule to cover PRN shifts.

Qualifications

  • Minimum three years experience as a CT Technologist.
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification required.
  • Current IV and CPR certifications.
  • CT certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Performs CT procedures as ordered with high quality. Advises physicians on appropriateness of add'l/modified studies.
  • Escorts patients to the treatment room and assists with dressings as needed; completes CT paperwork and logs procedures.
  • Ensures patient and staff safety per prescribed standards and reports malfunctions or needed adjustments.
  • Conducts daily QC measures to monitor CT machine performance and accuracy of exams.
  • Maintains confidentiality of patient and staff information in accordance with policy.

Overview

RMCC has an exciting opportunity for an experienced PRN CT Technologist to join our team. This position may support our Littleton, Aurora or Denver (Midtown) clinics.

Salary Range

$35.00 - $52.00. Pay is based on factors such as education, work experience, certification, etc. In addition to salary, RMCC offers health, dental, vision, wellness, health savings, flexible spending, 401(k), life, short- and long-term disability, Employee Assistance Program, PTO, holiday pay, tuition reimbursement, and employee paid critical illness and accident insurance (subject to eligibility).

Responsibilities
  • Performs CT procedures as ordered achieving a high level of quality. Offers expertise to physicians regarding appropriateness of additional/modified studies, etc.
  • Escorts patients to the treatment room. Assists with dressings as necessary. Completes all paperwork necessary to ensure timely delivery of CT services. Logs radiologic procedures completed. Processes routine paperwork.
  • Provides protection for patient and self in accordance with prescribed safety standards.
  • Ensures the safety and physical comfort of the patient while in technologist's care. Conducts daily quality control measures to monitor machine performance.
  • Reports all malfunctions and/or need for adjustments to the proper company or facility.
  • Follows prescribed safety standards in operating equipment. Maintains confidentiality of all information related to patients and medical staff.
Qualifications

Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited school. Minimum three years experience as a CT Technologist. Certification as a registered radiologic technologist (ARRT) required. Current IV and CPR certifications required. Certification in CT strongly preferred.

Physical Demands

Full range of body motion including manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination for operation and repair of all department equipment. Lifts and carries items weighing up to 50 pounds. Lifts and pushes patients in wheelchairs or stretchers weighing up to 300 pounds and places them in appropriate positions for operation of equipment. Requires ability to reach above shoulder height, sit or stand for extensive periods of time, and corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Other Requirements
