The Miriam Hospital in Providence, RI seeks a CT Technologist to operate a CT scanner and related equipment, producing high-quality images for adults, seniors and children in a busy Radiology Department. The role emphasizes patient-centered care within Brown University Health’s mission and values.
Eligible applicants hold a RI radiology license with CT supplemental license, ARRT registration, CPR certification, and two years of Radiologic Technology training; perform per diem shifts as needed.
Under general supervision of the CT Manager, Lead CT Technologists, and the Imaging Coordinator according to established procedures, operates a CT scanner and related equipment in order to produce radiographs of any designated anatomical area. All essential functions performed in the position reflect age specific needs of the geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients. Fosters patient and family centered care and nursing services in accordance with the Brown University Health mission, vision, and values, with consideration of the life span, including all developmental stages as well as cultural patterns.
