Job summary

Northside Hospital in Smyrna, Georgia, is seeking a CT Technologist to operate computerized tomography equipment and produce diagnostic films for neonate to geriatric patients. This PRN/Resource position offers variable hours and shifts depending on patient needs.

Qualified candidates must be graduates of an accredited ARRT or NMTCB school and registered with ARRT (CT) or NMTCB (CT). The ideal candidate will also hold a Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

OCCUPATIONAL SUMMARY

Operates computerized tomography equipment to produce films of designated portions of the human body for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.

REQUIRED

1. Graduate of an ARRT or NMTCB accredited school
2. Registered CT Technologist with the ARRT (CT) or NMTCB (CT)
3. Must hold American Heart Association Current Basic Life Support (BLS)

PREFERRED

1. Prior training or experience in Computerized Tomography (CT) scanning.
2. Ability to insert intravenous catheter
